Our Design Ethos

Our Design Ethos

We began because we were tired of disposable furniture. So we set out to design products of lasting quality for how people live today. Furniture should be made for the home, not the landfill. Made with materials that last. It’s a different way of making furniture. We call it furniture for keeping.

Design For All

Design is everywhere — from the household items we use everyday, to the transportation we take to work. We’re focused on making great design for the home that’s friendly and approachable as well.

Solve Problems

How products are developed, made and arrive to your door matters. We believe that you can solve big problems, like the culture of disposability, with meaningful design. We’re thoughtful about how our products are made and how they become a part of your life.

For Keeping

A warranty is only part of the equation. Assembly and disassembly should be intuitive, making it simple to take with you through a move. And it’s not only about using quality materials, it’s about serviceability. Our modular designs allow for any part to be easily replaced if anything breaks. As Ray Eames once said, “What works good is better than what looks good, because what works good lasts.”

The New Modern

For us, modern isn’t about a look, but about addressing the needs of how people are living today with simple, timeless design. Our products are derived from a combination of customer feedback, great materials and ease of use.
